Question:

•         What is Yeshua International and why was it formed ?

Answer:      

•         Yeshua International is an independent jurisdiction of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church in the autocephalous or independent movement. It was formed to give those persons (men or women) who are sincere in desiring Ordination into a Christian communion with a valid, historical line of Apostolic Succession the opportunity to serve God as a Priest, Bishop, Archbishop or Cardinal.

Question:

•         If that is the case, why not become Ordained in the mainstream denominations such as the Roman Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church, the Anglican Church or others ?

Answer:

•         Because for some, it simply is not possible. The reasons are many and diverse. Such may include the inability to attend a full time Seminary, because of gender or other societal reasons, or even dogmatic or doctrinal reasons of their respective bodies of worship.

Question:       

•         So, is the Yeshua International a group of clergy who are in schism with their own Church ?

Answer:

•         The answer is no. Yeshua International was not formed by a group of Clergy who are schismatic. Yeshua International was formed simply to give those who do not have the means or opportunity to serve their God in fulfilment to a calling that God has placed upon them.

Question:       

•         Does Ordination by Yeshua International make a person a Roman Catholic Priest ?

Answer:

•         Again the answer is no. That would be impossible. To suggest otherwise would be highly unethical. Yeshua International does not seek to suggest this or mislead anyone into thinking that this may be the case. Yeshua International is not Roman Catholic, Orthodox, Anglican or any other specific denomination. We are Catholic in the meaning of universal. All members of the Clergy who are Ordained, Consecrated or Incardinated by Yeshua International may choose the liturgy and style of worship that they are comfortable with or accustomed to provided it is Christian and follows the tenets of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. The Holy Orders conferred by us are seen by the Roman See as valid, but as "canonically irregular and independent".

Question:        Is Yeshua International just  an "Internet Church" ?

Answer:        

•         The answer is no. Yeshua International has many Diocese and Parishes located in seventeen countries across the world. The Internet is a valuable resource in means of communication, reaching out to people in a non confrontational format, and bridging a gap that may be thousands of miles long, in a second.

Question:        How are Ordinations accomplished ?

Answer:

•         All those interested in Ordination should write or send an email to the Chief Ordaining Officer indicating this. Initially, persons who are interested complete a lengthy application which is the start of the testing process.  Persons who have been previously Ordained in a Communion with a valid historical Line of Succession may be Incardinated into Yeshua International as an Incardinated Member.  Those who seek a higher level such as Bishop, Archbishop or Cardinal must become an Ordained Priest with Yeshua International.

Question:

•         If I am Ordained or Incardinated into Yeshua International, will I have a valid Apostolic Succession ?

Answer:       

•         In a word, yes. The line of succession is conferred on Ordination or Incardination.

Question:        Once Ordained, am I an independent Clergy person?

Answer:

•         Yes, you are, however all Clergy Members Ordained, Consecrated or Incardinated by Yeshua International are under the Episcopal oversight of the Patriarch of Yeshua International who may assign an Archbishop or Bishop locally to have Episcopal oversight, and in turn to the Patriarch of Yeshua International.  They remain Members of Yeshua International as long as they remain true to our Constitution, our Statement of Faith and Belief and promote Yeshua International at every opportunity.  Archbishop and Bishops must complete complete and send their Monthly Report every month by post or e-mail.

Question:        Who makes up the staff of Yeshua International ?

Answer: 

•        The Patriarch of Yeshua International is Cardinal Dr. Peter R. Edwards DM, DRTh, KnSt.F, AD.  Cardinal Edwards holds Doctorates in Ministry and Theology as well as Academic qualifications in Industry.  Cardinal Edwards founded Yeshua International seven years ago.  Cardinal Edwards is also Archbishop of All of England for The Old Roman Catholic Church in England.  The Patriarch is charged with the responsibility by the Trustees, for overseeing the day to day running of Yeshua International and is the elected President of the College of Bishops.  The Patriarch is also Principal of the School of Theology.  There are a number of groups which make up the Organisation.  First there is a group of Trustees.  The Trustees are responsible for ensuring the financial viability of Yeshua International at all times.  The Trustees meet at least twice a year and discuss every aspect of Ministry and inform The Board of Ministry of their collective wishes.  Then there is a group of Lay and Ordained folk who form The Board of Ministry.  The Board of Ministry meet at least twice a year and discuss every aspect of the Ministry and advise the Trustees accordingly.  Then we have a group of Lay and Ordained folk who have taken on particular roles within the organisation.  These roles are as follows :-

•       The Resources Committee - are made up from a group of Lay and Ordained Folk who oversee requests that are made from groups or individuals who request financial help.  The requests can be for Fees towards Ordination and Consecration or for items of equipment or resources.  The Resources Committee advise the Trustees on individual Grant Requests.  The Resources Committee never recommend to fund an entire project only a contribution towards a project.  Many questions are asked by the Resources Committee before a Grant is approved and sent to the Trustees with their recommendation for completion.

•     Website Co-Ordinator - responsible for compiling and uploading the Website to the server every week.

•         Ministry Page Co-Ordinator - Responsible for compiling the Ministry Page and examine Guest Sermons as they are received before passing them to the Website Co-Ordinator.

•         Prayer and Healing Page Co-Ordinator - Responsible for compiling all Prayer and Healing requests before passing them to the Website Co-Ordinator.

•         Humour and Children's Page Co-Ordinator - Responsible for compiling the Humour Page and the Childrens' Page before passing the information to the Website Co-Ordinator.

•         The “Live Service" Co-Ordinator - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the weekly Broadcast to at least seventeen countries.

•         Discussion Forum Co-Ordinator - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Discussion Forum on the Internet.

•         Information Technology/Internet Co-Ordinator - Responsible for advising the Website Co-Ordinator and advising Members on Information Technology matters.

•         Principal of The School of Theology - Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Yeshua International's School of Theology.

•         The Virtual Order of St. Francis of Assisi Co-Ordinator - Responsible for Examining Candidates who apply to be awarded the Order.

Question:

•         How much does each person get paid for what they do for Yeshua International ?

Answer:       

•         No one who works for Yeshua International receives any remuneration for any time or expenses incurred for what they do.  That includes Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops, Priests, Lay Folk, Secretary, Treasurer etc.  There are obvious running costs of administration which Yeshua International naturally pays for.

Question:

•          Are there any statistics on who is involved in Yeshua International ?

Answer:

•         Yes, nearly 11,000 Log on to the Website which is updated every week with new material.  Yeshua International has Cardinals, Archbishops, Bishops and Priests in seventeen countries which include; England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Nigeria, Ghana, Pakistan, India and several States of the United States.  Yeshua International receives on an average over 300 e-mails a day.  The "Live Service" is seen every week by 40 to 60 internet connections.  Some of the connections have up to 20 - 30 Members sitting watching the "Live Service".  There are details on the Website on how to tune in and receive the Broadcast which is free to our Members apart for their own internet connection.  Everything is done on a voluntary basis and Yeshua International is very grateful for all the Members time and dedication to the Broadcast Ministry of Yeshua International.

Question:         Is all Member information confidential ?

Answer:       

•         Yes, all Members information is strictly confidential.  The only information that appears on the Website is with the approval and authority of the Member concerned and is limited to what the individual Member wishes to have displayed.  No Member information is given or divulged to any third party.

Question:        

•         Are there any religious bodies that Yeshua International shares Inter-Communion ?

Answer:

•         Yes, Yeshua International is Unified and in Full Communion with the Old Roman Catholic Church in England and shares Inter-Communion.  The Patriarch of Yeshua International is a Member of the College of Bishops of the Independent Catholic Union of the United States. Yeshua International shares Inter-Communion with The Celtic Anabaptist, The Keys To The Kingdom and The Servants of The Good Shepherd, The Independent Catholic Union of the United States, The Heaven Life Ministries and St Philip Neri Church of the Immaculate Vision (http://www.stphilipnrcc.org).

Question:        

•         Who pays for everything that is done by Yeshua International ?

Answer:

•         The Trustees have the responsibility to ensure that Yeshua International is financially viable at all times and has sufficient financial funds to meet all its commitments.  However, It must be stressed that Yeshua International makes nothing out of what it does which is why we ask all those who benefit from what we do to make a donation.  We have Members who donate every week, those who dip in and out as and when their need arises.  We are very grateful to those who have supported us which is why from time to time we are able to make grants to those who are less financially off than we are.

Q.    Does Yeshua International have an Overseas Missionary ?

Answer.

Answer:   

•         Yes, Yeshua International has just appointed The Reverend Ian Mcdougall as Yeshua International's Overseas Envoy to Spain.
