A PRAYER FOR YOU AND FOR ME

Heavenly Father, I mercifully ask that I be made pure by the Blood of Christ.  You gave Your beloved Son and You accepted His sacrifice for the sins of all mankind.

Help us Father to accept You as the Only God who in the beginning created the Heavens and the Earth, and All things including Mankind who are fearfully and wonderfully made.  You, my God, are before all things and in You all things hold together.

In these last days, Satan and his spirits is finding success leading most of us into confusion away from Truth, resulting into suffering, tragedy, and death which comes from him the evil one who wants us to believe that sufferings, tragedies and death comes from You.  Help us to remember Your assurance that in Jesus we are safe even in the darkest hour if we accept Christ's free gift of Eternal Life.

I ask You to forgive me of my sins and to accept me as Your child.  Grant me a loving heart, a heart to love others in Jesus Name I pray.  Thank You.  Amen.

The Revd Dr. Ernon E. Campbell DD, AD, LCG, MIIE, MCMI

"Have you ever told a lie?"  He asked?

The Man answered - "yes, Lord."

"Have you ever been given too much change and kept it?"

The man answered - "yes, Lord."  And the man sobbed more and more.

"Have you ever taken something from work that wasn't yours?"

Jesus asked?  And the man answered - "yes, Lord."

"Have you ever sworn, using My Father's Name in vain?"

The man, crying now, answered - "yes, Lord."

As Jesus asked many more times, "Have you ever?" The man's crying became uncontrollable, for he could only answer - "yes, Lord."

Then Jesus turned His head from one side to the other, and the man felt something fall on His other shoulder.  He looked and saw it was the blood of Jesus.  When he looked back up, his eyes me those of Jesus, and there was a look of love the man had never seen or known before.

Jesus said "I didn't deserve this either, but I forgive you."

It may be hard to see how you are going to get through something, but when you look back, you realize how true this statement is.  Read the following first line slowly and let is sink in.

If God brings you to it, - He will bring you through it.

Lord, I love You and I need You, come into my heart, today.

For without You I can do nothing.  AMEN.

A PRAYER FOR DIANE

In times of sadness and grief we all need the understanding of others, especially those close to us/  For some, those close to us are, for whatever reason, the ones we feel are least likely to provide that much needed comfort.  It is for this reason that I request the help of all those reading this now, that we share a prayer for my dear friend Diane, who is currently grieving the death of her son who passed away 6 years ago when she was only 19.  For reasons unknown, her son was buried in an unmarked communal grave and took place a mere 2 minutes prior to Diane's arrival, denying her that important time to say goodbye.  Diane has had to live with those memories for all these years without the comfort and support of those around her and it is only now that she feels it right to remedy that, to enable her to move forwards in life.  I am helping Diane arrange an appropriate memorial and head stone so she can grieve, say goodbye and find comfort and perhaps the closure she was denied 6 years ago.  Please include Diane and her son in your prayers and send them your love, which they both so greatly deserve.

The Reverend Dr. Wayn Snook DD, AD

PRAYER

How often should I pray?  Jesus told His Disciples that they should always pray and never become discouraged.  Luke 18 v 1

The Apostle Paul wrote to the Colossians:  "Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God" Colossians 4 v 2

Dependence on God in prayer is basic for serving the Lord Jesus Christ and this Prayer Diary is simply to assist you - especially in intercession for others.

From time to time there are special circumstances and events for which you are asked to pray - people in hospital, those who have had a recent bereavement etc.  Make a list as the needs occur, use the Prayer Guide on the bottom of the Prayer Page to help you to remember them.

Jesus Said:

"Ask and you will receive" - Matthew 21 v 22

People and situations to Pray For

.... Whoever looks closely into the perfect law

That sets people free,

Who keep on paying attention to it

And does not simply listen and then forget it,

And puts it into practice

- That person will be blessed by God

In what he does - James 1 v 25

Father of Mankind

Who gave Your only-begotten Son

To take upon Himself the form of a Servant

And to be obedient even to death on a Cross;

Give us the same mind

That was in Christ Jesus

That, sharing His humility,

We may come to be with Him in His Glory;

Who is alive and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit,

One God, now and for ever.  AMEN.
